Apex Auto Finance Data Breach

What Happened

Apex Auto Finance notified the Georgia Attorney General on June 15, 2026 of unauthorized access to its loan processing system. The breach occurred between May 20 and May 27, 2026, exposing Social Security Numbers, driver's license numbers, bank account information, and vehicle identification numbers for approximately 130,000 loan applicants and customers.
