BrightPath HR Solutions Data Breach

What Happened

BrightPath HR Solutions reported a data breach to the Michigan Attorney General on July 14, 2026. A successful phishing campaign gave attackers access to payroll and benefits administration systems, exposing Social Security Numbers, direct deposit bank information, and login credentials for approximately 52,000 employees at client companies. The unauthorized access occurred June 1-7, 2026.
