What Happened

Harmony Insurance Co. reported a ransomware attack to the Florida Attorney General on June 28, 2026. The attack, first detected on May 2, 2026, resulted in the exposure of policyholder data including Social Security Numbers, medical diagnoses, prescription information, and payment details for approximately 450,000 Florida residents. Harmony has retained a cybersecurity firm and is cooperating with law enforcement.
